"The Red Paint"
Alone in this bare room
This endless pass of time
My life ticks slowly; the soft, vexing chime
With no such company; Only my thoughts remain alive
And this red paint, that, which is mine
And the white paint, too, in case I change my mind
But my mind is set
It's the walls against me
These's walls that trap and icolate, no longer decree
I set to work as my auguish builds up; at last I'll be free
When my work is compleate, I look back with a sigh
My last simple words painted clearly "Good-bye"
