Shadows of the Lost Souls

I sit in my small corner
Alone in the shadows
I scream in pain from within the darkness
As others gather around to laugh

To hide from her fears
She sits and hides in her corner

As the devil gathers around to laugh

The devil hacks at my heart...I've tried all I could do
The Lord in my heart puts up a fight, but the devil's getting through
That bearier's getting smaller . . . each passing day could be it
He chops away and leaves a hole

The bearier is almost broken now.
I'm nearly lost of all faith
It kills me inside to know . . . what will be my fate.
