"Your Own Secret"
Through the crack I can see
What little the world has to offer me
I'm inside these walls with little but a body
And these senses that roam around the room
I'm a walking nerve, a speaking spinal cord
Through these ways of structured stone
I know, but I musn't share these secrets with my mind
Because the mind is weak, and I am not
Don't poison me, because I kid you not
My power is greater than the mind itself
Because I, myself am part of the mind, I control every thought
Every breath, every twitch, and every emotion
I am who I am, the mind is who he is
But I'm that little voice in the back
Shouting out the answers to your last test
Sending you your nightmares and your dreams
You search all your life but never find the means
But just remember that your mind is much deeper than it seems
