Your Statue
Starring up at flourecent lights
Blurr my vision and leave me dazed.
The sound of vague conversations,
Roll though my mind and come out futile.
The rustling of feet as they leave the room;
I trod behind cold and distant;
Like a trance I've been in for all these years.
Unbreakable I seem to you;
A statue;
An object you can curse and spit,
With no defense against your sick,
and twisted lips.
What else can I do but become your statue?
Cold and black and emotionless;
Cold and black and breathless.
